Jose Saucedo, 90, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Del Socorro Saucedo; and a grandson, Jimmy Saucedo. Mr. Saucedo is survived by his children, Francisco (Ignacia) Saucedo, Jose (Carmen) Saucedo Jr., Israel (Graciela) Saucedo, Ildefonso Saucedo, Jesus (Elida) Saucedo, Edelmiro (Mari) Saucedo, Maria Gonzalez, and Tony (Christina) Saucedo; 37 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
