Crespin Ramirez, Jr.46 of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on March 24, 2011 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.
Crespin was born on December 21, 1964 in Port Isabel, Texas. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and a lifetime resident of Port Isabel. He was a strong supporter, mentor, and coach at the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Madre. He loved fishing and #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboy's and the P.I. tarpons. Crespin was a loving husband, father, and great friend. He was a joy to everyone who met him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christy Tabares Ramirez; 3 sons, Crespin Ramirez, III, Roland Ray Ramirez, and Robert Lee Ramirez; a daughter, Victoria Noelle Ramirez; a sister-in-law, Monica Lobue; a godson, Roger Ramirez, Jr., his parents, Crespin Sr. and Porfiria Azocar Ramirez; 3 brothers, Ruben Ramirez, Noe Ramirez, and Roger Ramirez,; a sister, Mary Ramirez; in laws, Emilio and Victoria Tabares; 2 brother in laws, Noe Emilio (Debi Stuckey) and Joel Eduardo (Pamela) Tabares; two sister in laws, Corina Tabares and Criselda (Brian) Rookstool; several nephews and nieces and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito and will continue from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., in Port Isabel, Texas.
Visitations will continue on Monday, March 28, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Mass of Resurrection beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel with Father Gerry Barrett officiating. Cremation will follow in accordance with his wishes.
Serving as pallbearers are Crespin Ramirez III, Roland Ray Ramirez, Roger Ramirez Jr., Joel Emilio Tabares, Xavier Garcia, Allen Joseph Ramirez and Jezrel Garcia.
