Comanche, Texas: James Woodruff Fanning, 55, of Comanche, Texas sailed into the sunset on Saturday, April 5th, 2008 in Laguna Madre Bay on South Padre Island . He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim Fanning and Charlsie Fanning. James was a graduate of The University of Houston, Pharmacy School. An entrepreneur of Health Related Service companies for the past 30 years and recently founded Advantage Relief Services, Inc. He will always be remembered by his optimistic outlook alongside his smile... James is survived by his beloved children: Michael James, Daniel Ryan and Lauren Marie, two sisters; Cathy and Martha, Lourdes Arroyo; lifelong friend and mother of his children, many nieces, nephews and a countless number of cherished friends. Visitation will be held today Thursday April 10, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Visitation will continue on Friday April 11, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a Chapel Services to be held at 11:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Hyde officiating. Interment will follow to Sacred Park Crematorium.
