Agueda Noriega, 98, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in San Benito surrounded by her loving family. She will always be remembered for her enjoyment in crafting and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julio Noriega and sons, Isidoro and Ernesto Noriega, She is survived by her sons, Edio (Aurora) Noriega, Lupe (Dora) Noriega; two daughters, Lydia (Joe) Fonseca, Yolanda (Pete) Lopez; two daughter-in-laws, Delia Noriega and Rosa Noriega; two brothers, Juan Antonio Guajardo and Guadalupe Guajardo. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 12:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
