Jose Cruz Gutierrez, 60, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on May 11, 2013 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Maria C. Duarte; children: Jose Carlos Gutierrez, Gloria Gutierrez Harwood, Lisa Kichana, and Sandra Gutierrez; stepdaughter Lucero Munoz; 6 grandchildren; and 10 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas.
