Hesperia, CA - Elvira Reyes De Leon, 86, passed away Monday, March 03, 2008 at her home in Hesperia California. She was born on January 18, 1922 in Robstown, TX and she later raised her family in Laureles, TX. Elvira is preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo De Leon and her parents: Graciano and Maria Reyes; Sisters, Dora Cadena and Lillie Perez; Brothers, Graciano Reyes Jr. and Luis Reyes. She is survived by her two sons: Oscar (Elvia) De Leon of San Benito, TX, Rene (Esther) De Leon of Hesperia, CA, two daughters: Alma De Leon and Dahlia De Leon, both of Hesperia, CA. and a sister, Angelita R. Hernandez of Fresno, CA; In addition, Elvira is survived by her seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2008 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in San Benito with Rev. Fr. Isaac Emeka Erondu Officiating. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
