Harlingen, TX - Santiago Salinas, 74, of Harlingen, TX passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Harlingen Nursing and Rehab Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe Luz and Rosa R. Salinas.
He is survived by his wife, Rosario Salinas; five sons, Raul (Sara) Castaneda, Santiago Salinas, Jr., David Salinas, Pablo (Sandra) Salinas, and Emmanuel (Eunice) Salinas; several grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Directors.
Chapel service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 10:00 am at Thomae Garza Funeral Directors. Interment will follow to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 S. Inspiration Rd., Mission, TX. Full military honors will be conducted by the VFW Post# 8788 of McAllen, Texas.
