Dad...there's a lot of first's that you showed me through my life, but nothing in this world could of ever prepared me for my life without you in it. You were always "just a call away",or a 45min drive to your side of town just to be with you. I,like my brothers, I thank you and will forever be grateful for everything you did for my family and me, but if I can take one of your traits and pass it on to my own kids ,it's that love, caring and the reassurance that you will always be there for us. Even though you're no longer here,I feel that you are with me always. You were a man with many talents, but my favorite one of mine was just being my Dad. I love and miss you Pops... love you.

I was the third son born to luis "limpy lou" Villarreal. Born in July of '65. As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be just like dad. I remember visiting my Aunts homes and trying really hard to make dad proud of me. He would offer me quarters to dance around and attempt to impress my aunts with my dancing skills. It was more for laughs than anything else but I enjoyed it too. As I got older, i realized my dad loved to sing and played the guitar, so I too learned to play and eventually sing. I played sports just to impress him. I learned everything he offered to teach me from painting to construction work to teaching in schools just to be able to say that I idolized my dad. I accomplished everything he did and then some. Iwanted so bad to become him and finally I did. I lost my friend my dad my hero...may you rest in peace "limpy lou". "love is forever and forever is you" Love you Dad

Lu and the Villarreal family, I am so sorry for your loss. In the times I had spent with you and your family when I was little I always remember your Dad being the man with a smile on his face. Just like Laura said, little Lu has his grandparents watching over him now. Lu, your Dad is now in everlasting peace. Great Dad's deserve everlasting peace and I believe that your Dad greeted God with that same smile. I love you!!

Lu and family...We are so sorry for this huge loss to you all. Although we did not spend much time with your dad, every time our paths crossed he was always so pleasant and had such a warm, contagious smile. We know he was a wonderful man. We know this because of who you are. Lu, you're love and devotion to Ruth is a testemonial, not only to your dad, but your mom as well. We find comfort in knowing that they are now together eternally and they are holding your precious son. He is showing them all the beauties of heaven. We love you Lu and Ruth. Our prayers and love go out to you and all of your brothers and family. Laura, Richard and Alyx
