Victoriana A. Gonzales, 92, of Lozano, Texas, passed away on February 8, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Gonzales; her son Pablo Gonzales; her daughter Elvia Medina; her brothers and sisters: Jesusa Sanchez, Inez Escamilla, Miguel Araguz, Ramon Araguz, and Gabino Araguz; and her grandson, Juan Gonzales Jr. Victoriana is survived by her children: Dora Saenz, Benito Gonzales, Juan Gonzales, all of Lozano, Texas, Jorge Gonzales of Harlingen, Texas, Mark Gonzales of Los Fresnos, Texas; her brothers and sisters: Guadalupe Gonzales of El Campo, Texas, Amanda Araguz of Victoria, Texas, Tomas Araguz of Wharton, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Mass of resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 11, 2013 at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Rio Hondo. Interment will follow at Las Yescas Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Benito Gonzales Jr., Amado Saenz Jr., Mark Gonzales, Mickey Gonzales, and Jorge Gonzales Jr. Serving as honorary pall bearers are: Javier Gonzales, Damien Ramirez, and Gabino Gonzales.
