Esmeralda G. Infante, 66, of Los Fresnos/El Ranchito, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents: Benito and Raquel Garcia. Esmeralda is survived by her husband, Pablo Infante; seven children: Gerardo (Carmen) Gonzalez, Blanca Estela (Gonzalo) Juarez; Aurelio Melchor, Lionel Yzaguirre, Erica (Rene Leal) Yzaguirre, Edna (Hector) Zuniga, and Arnulfo (Elena) Infante; and nine siblings: Benito (Maria) Garcia Jr, Victor (Olga) Garcia, Sylvia Garcia, Carlos (Viola) Garcia, Dalia (Adan) Leal, Diana Garcia, Elida (Jesus) Saucedo, Rachael (Ralph) Pena, and George (Lili) Garcia. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. Ignacio Catholic Church in El Ranchito, Texas. Committal service will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
