Port Isabel, TX: Dorothy "Evon" Moore, 71, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away at Kindred Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX on February 17, 2008. Dorothy was born August 8, 1936 to Luther and Nora O'Neal. She was a life long resident of Port Isabel, Texas. She attended Port Isabel High School and was a Church of Christ member of Port Isabel. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Wesley Moore, Jr., brother: L.B. O'Neal, sister: Beatrice DeSpain, and parents: Luther and Nora O'Neal. She is survived by her children: Belinda (Michael) Deckard, John Wesley Moore, Bonnie L. Moore, 3 grandchildren: Terra Lovins, Jason Moore, Dolores Deckard, 4 great-grandchildren: Rachel Lovins, Rebecca Lovins, Zach Deckard, and Logan Lovins, 1 brother: Nolan (Elizabeth) O'Neal, 1 sister: Joyce (Don) Smith and sister-in-law: Doris O'Neal. Visitation will be held Friday, February 22, 2008 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel in San Benito. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas. Pallbearers will be Michael Deckard, Jason Moore, Brian Lovins, Richard Shane, Rolando Velez, and Eddie Villarreal.
