Mary C. Bernal, 61, of Rio Hondo, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Elpidio M. Lopez of Rio Hondo, Texas; her daughter, Karen Mahoney; and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a chapel service to begin at 2:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Interment will follow at Las Yescas Cemetery.
