San Benito, Texas: Elidia G. Ramos, 69, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother entered the Lords heavenly kingdom Friday, February 15, 2008. Elidia was born March 24, 1938 to Leonardo and Mercella Gonzales. She had a passion for sewing and trurly loved to do it, often for hours at a time each day. Her hands made many beautiful creations for many people throughout her life. Elidia truly loved her sons and grandchildren and was very proud of each one. She leaves behind a loving family. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her one true love Gilberto Ramos. She was also preceded in death by her parents Leonardo and Marcella Gonzales, Aurora, Daniel Juanita (Araujo) Felix Gonzales. Survivors include her sons, Juan Gilberto (Olga) Ramos Sr. of La Feria, TX and Jimmy (Nilda) Ramos of San Benito, TX. Grandchildren, Aime ( Oscar) Ramos Juan Gilberto Ramos Jr., Jennifer Nicole Ramos and Anika Ramos; great grandson, Ayden Gilberto Leal; Brothers, Ramon (Irma) Gonzales, Gonzalo (Tammy) Gonzales, Tomas (Antonia) Trevino. Numerous Cousins, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Juan Sr., Jimmy, Juan Jr., Jennifer, Aime and Anika. Visitation was held Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 12 PM to 9 Pm with a holy rosary at 7pm. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 18, 2008 at 10 Am at St. Benedict Cathlict Church. Interment wil follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
