Obituary of Julian Juarez

Julian Juarez, 95, of El Ranchito, Texas, our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen with his loving and devoted family at his side.
Julian was born in Edna, Texas to Donaciana and Eduvijes Juarez. He was a lifetime resident of El Ranchito for many years. He was a migrant worker who traveled to Madras, Oregon and other states. Our beloved father was a hard working man who always provided for his family and others. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eduvijes and Donaciana Juarez; his wife Maria de la Luz Juarez; his son Israel Jose "Relo" (Victoria) Juarez; his grandson, Juan Ramon "Pandi' Hernandez Jr.; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children: Guadalupe (Carlos) Garcia of Florida; San Juana (Baldomero) Garcia, Jesus (Maria) Juarez Sr., and Sylvia (Juan Ramon) Hernandez, all of El Ranchito, Texas: 19 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his beloved sisters: Refugia Juarez, Carmen Guerra, Beatriz Cazares, and Paula Guajardo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Visitation will continue on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Ignacio Catholic Church in El Ranchito, Texas. Interment will follow at Garcia Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are: Juan Ramon Hernandez, Facundo Juarez, Israel Jose Juarez Jr., Jesus Juarez Jr., Adrian Juarez, Julian Villegas IV, Carlos Garcia Jr., Francisco Rivera Jr., Ricardo Rivera, and Baldomero Garcia.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. P. Movva for his tender care in providing the best quality of care and assistance to our father Julian Juarez.
