Obituary of Belinda J. Lopez

Belinda J. Lopez, 59, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Houston, TX.

Belinda was born in San Benito, TX, on July 16, 1965, to Juan and Olga Castillo. She was raised in Rio Hondo, Texas, along with her three sisters, Elsa, Cristela, and Debra. She was known for leading with a servants' heart and always providing for her family. Her passion for nature and traveling was evident, and you'd always catch her with a smile, eager to create memories. Most people would agree that her sense of humor made her who she was because she loved to see people happy and in good spirits. Her love for her children, John and Ashley, and grandchildren, Ian and Kai, was unconditional and patent. She will always be remembered as an amazing mother, daughter, sister, Tia, friend, and grandma.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ashley N. Lopez and John J. Lopez; grandchildren, Ian Lopez, Kai Lopez; and sisters, Elsa Rodriguez, Debra Carmona, Cristela Castañeda

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m.  Rosary at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.

A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX, with cremation to follow as per her wishes.
