Maria L Silva, 67, of San Benito, TX passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born on April 6, 1957, to Marcelo and Juana Lopez De Balboa in Mexico. Maria met her loving husband of 47 years, Ezequiel, at a young age and married in Brownsville, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelo and Juana Lopez De Balboa. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ezequiel Silva of San Bentio, TX; daughter, Aracely Silva Garza of Harlingen, TX; 3 sons, Francisco Silva, Ezequiel Silva Jr., and Daniel Silva all of San Benito, TX. In addition, she is survived by numerous grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S. Bowie St., San Benito, TX with interment to follow to San Benito Memorial Park.
