Fred Albin Ossanna III, 81, born in Boston MA March 8, 1943, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Growing up, he lived in Minnesota and then moved to Laguna Vista in 1983, where he met his loving wife, Ginny Ossanna. He owned and operated White Repair and serviced most of the restaurants on South Padre Island. He enjoyed his many friends and enjoyed baking cookies for them aka Cookie Man. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, taking many trips to Mexico, and many parts of the United States. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Jr. and Elizabeth “Betty” and his brother Rick. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Ginny Ossanna; brothers, Michael (JoAnn) and Chris (Ann); children, Jenah (Brad) Bellamy, Fred Ossanna IV, Doug and (Maddie) Lamalie. In addition, he is survived by his 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 11:30 at Chapel by The Sea on South Padre Island. Celebration of Life will follow the service at Jake’s Restaurant, 2001 Padre Blvd, South Padre Island, TX.
