It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelica Ysasi, 92, of San Benito, TX. She gained her wings on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Harlingen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loved ones. Angelica, our matriarch, was born on July 4, 1931 in San Fernando Tamaulipas to Wenseslao Segura and Francisca Perez. Mrs. Ysasi is preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Ysasi and son Jose Isabel Galvan. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Maria Miranda, Jorge Galvan (Regina), Irma Reyes (Leonel), Ma Concepcion Liguez(Juan), Jesus Galvan (Dora), Victor Galvan (Cynthia), Laura Martinez (David), Veronica Segura ( Daniel +); three step children: Jesus Galvan (Janie), Maria McAuley (Joey), and Ancelmo Galvan. In addition, her legacy continues on with 34 grand children and over 50 great grand children. Mrs. Ysasi was a loving mother, grandmother. She loved to sing and spend time with her family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
