Manuel Peña, age 92, of San Benito, Texas passed away on, Saturday May 4th, 2024, in San Benito Texas. He was born April 10th, 1932, in Brownsville, Texas to Luisa Medina and Esteban Peña. Manuel is preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe Peña, his parents, Luisa Medina and Esteban Peña, his brothers and sisters Fidel Medina, Jesus Medina, Maria Peña, Elva Peña, Alonso Peña and Emma Peña. His son Esteban Peña and his granddaughter Jessica Nuñez. Manuel is survived by his loving children Virginia Nuñez and Jesus Nuñez, Cervando Peña, Luisa Ramirez and Servando Ramirez, Jesus Peña and Maria Torres Peña. His grandchildren Adan Lopez, Melissa Rojas and Jorge Rojas, Jesse Peña Jr, Jessica Peña, Jonathan Peña, Samantha Peña and Sebastian Tadao. His great grandchildren, Mica Lopez, Diego Rojas, Luis Rojas and Elianna Rojas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S. Bowie St., San Benito, TX with interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Cemetery.
