San Benito / Los Fresnos - Brenda Alicia Perez Herrera passed away unexpectantly on Saturday, January 5, 2008 in Los Fresnos. Brenda was a 2004 graduate of Los Fresnos High School and was currently attending the University of Texas at Brownsville. She was a member of Iglesia Unidos En Cristo in Los Fresnos. Brenda is survived be her loving parents, mother: Juana Herrera and father Arnulfo Herrera. She is also survived by her siblings, 2 sisters: Nayeli Herrera and Sarray Herrera, 2 brothers: Arnulfo Herrera, Jr. and Abraham Herrera. In addition, Brenda is survived by her grandparents: Rodolfo Herrera and Gloria De La Cruz and 18 aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be: Arnulfo Herrera, Jr., Juan Perez, Jr., Roman Fuentes, Ruben Perez, Everardo Martinez and Rene Martinez. Visitation will be held at 8:00 am to 11:00 am at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito and visitation will continue from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Iglesia Unidos En Cristo in Los Fresnos. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm at the church and interment will follow to Los Cuates Cemetery. Words of comfort may be left to the family of Brenda Herrera at www.thomaegarza.com. Funeral Services entrusted to the care of Thomae-Garza Funeral Directors.
