Armando Tamez, 78, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
Soldier’s Prayer
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glit on the snow.
I am the sun in rippling grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with a burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
