Ruben Muñoz, 58, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2024. He was born on July 26, 1965, in Brownsville, Texas to Valentin and Martina Munoz. He is preceded in death by his father, Valentin Muñoz and mother, Martina Tapia Muñoz. Left to cherish his loving memory are his brothers, Juan (Manuela) Muñoz, Miguel (Vanessa) Muñoz, sisters, Rosario (Noe) Gonzales, and Nelda (Arturo) Mena. He also is survived by 3 nieces, 6 nephews, 1 great niece, and 2 great nephews. Ruben’s passion was truck driving and he spent most of his life in the trucking business. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will forever be missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Tapia Cemetery.
