Angeline Martinez, 38, of Mission, TX, known as “Angie,” to her family and (Gigglez) to her friends, gained her heavenly wings on February 8, 2024, at the young age of 38. Angeline was born on June 5, 1985, to Angel and Aida Martinez. She graduated from Mission High School in 2004. She went on to obtain her Nursing Assistant Certificate in 2004 from formerly South Texas College in McAllen. In addition, at STC, she furthered her education by taking classes in Criminal Law. In 1995, Angeline formed the RGV and was CEO of “Positive Vibes Only” (PVO), an organization to raise funds to “Feed the Children”. Angeline was a very strong and independent person. She worked hard as a single mother by being self-employed. She ran her two shops, “La Gigglez Designs” and “La Gigglez Boutique”. She was preceded in death by her father, Angel Martínez, Sr. She is survived by her three loving daughters, Gabrielle Danielle, Hailey Marie and Miracle Angel: mother, Aida R. Martinez; brother, Angel Martínez Jr. (wife-Veronica); nephew, Aaron Matthew Martinez; and nieces, Audree Zoe Martinez and Kaylee V. Carrasco. She also leaves behind her maternal aunts, Maria Yolanda (Armando) Alonso, Maria (JD) Lee, Graciela (Aubin) Martinez and Maria Elena (Jesse) Sosa; paternal aunts: Maria Estrada, Sulema García and great aunt Josefina Contreras. Angeline will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.
