Susan Michelle Riley, 54, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her father, Leonard Edwards Riley Jr. Left to cherish her loving memory is her mother, Loreta M. Riley; brother, Michael Riley, and Angela, two nephews; Brock Riley and Kaleb Riley, niece; McKenzie Garza; aunt, Pat Riley; aunt, Karen Carrell; uncle, Dr. Dagoberto Martinez and Mary Ann; aunt, Dina Martinez; uncle, Dr. Dan Martinez and Thelma; and cousins James Carrell, Alan Carrell, Len Carrell, Greg Martinez, Marissa Pechacek, and many others. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Susan’s love of animals was well known. One of her dear friends Lynn Bennett Gatlin runs an animal rescue in Corsicana.
