Dorothy will be fondly remembered for her boundless hospitality, as she graciously welcomed not only her own children but also their friends and extended family into her home. Through the decades, her residence transitioned from 'mom's house' to 'grandma's home,' becoming a cherished gathering place where laughter, love, and shared memories filled every corner.
She possessed a green thumb and a heart of gold, as evidenced by her ownership of Dorothy's Flower Shop in San Benito during the 1980s and 1990s. There she lovingly crafted countless floral arrangements and mums for the community.
Dorothy was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love for her family. Her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness along with a touch of spiciness, touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will continue to inspire generations to come.
We would like to extend our gratitude to her home health provider, Liliana Benavides, for her dedicated assistance and compassionate care.
The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Remi and Rene Garza for the comfort and joy they brought into her life, especially during her final days.
