Domitila Cervantes passed peacefully and surrounded by family at the Treasure Hills Health Care and Rehabilitation in Harlingen, Texas on Monday, February 5, 2024. She was born on May 12, 1941, in Donna , Texas to Pablo Rodriguez and Andrea Salazar. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Pablo Rodriguez and Andrea S. Rodriguez, husband Jose Angel Cervantes, sister Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez and daughter, Minerva H. Rubio. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Sandra (Natividad Jr.) Nino, her niece Dina Marie Rodriguez, six grandchildren; Robert P. (Vanessa) Aguilera, Michael B. Aguilera, Laureano Ysaguirre, Natividad Nino III, Adriana Nino, Jacob Nino, two great-grandchildren; Robert Logan Aguilera and Havok Oliver Aguilera, and two great nieces; Illiana Z. Brown and Gabriella A. Brown. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Aguilera, Michael Aguilera, Laureano Ysaguirre, Natividad Nino III, Jacob Nino and Juan Cruz. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Benedicts Catholic Church, 351 S. Bowie St., with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
