Luz Ceballos de Rodriguez, 91, fue nacida y criada en México estado de Nuevo Leon. Fue una mujer muy fuerte, trabajadora y siempre al pendiente de su familia. Su mayor pasion siempre fue su jardín, atender sus flores al igual que sus gallinas. En su pasatiempo fue amante del baile, bordar, y pintar. Vivió feliz y en paz sus últimos años en Río Hondo, Texas, rodeada de su familia y donde fue llamada a la presencia del señor el martes 23 de enero del 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan P. Rodrigue; 2 infant sons (names unknown); father, Hilario Ceballos and mother, Susana Lopez de Ceballos; sisters, Guadalupe Loa, and Felicitas Guevara. Left to cherish her loving memory are her daughters; Juanita Obregón (Horacio Obregón), Maria Elena Rodríguez (Dagoberto Morales) and Guadalupe Rodríguez, her grandchildren; Margot Obregón Ferrel, Alicia Obregón Williams, Celeste Obregón, Adilene Loza, Jorge Castelan III, David Santos, Nicolás Castelan, Maria Jose Serino, Alexis Serino; and her great-grandchildren; Jorge Ferrel Jr., Jocelyn Ferrel, Rio Santiago Williams, Milloni Janae Williams, Cashton Elizandro Williams, and Ezekiel Guadalupe Gonzalez. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with a burial to follow to Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery in Harlingen, Texas.
