Carmen Castillo, 90, of Los Fresnos, TX passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Fox Hollow Nursing Home. She was a devoted Catholic at Saint Cecilia Church in Los Fresnos, Tx. She was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and would never miss a game on her TV. She Loved her plants and was a hard worker. Carmen is preceded in death by her parents Enedino and Francisca Garcia. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ramon Castillo, and Martin (Ana) Castillo and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for immediate family and from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for friends with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Cecilia Church, 606 W. Ocean Blvd., Los Fresnos, TX, with interment to follow to Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos, TX. Serving as pallbearers will be Mauro Castillo, Eric Martin Castillo, Christine Renee Castillo, Martin De Leon, Reynaldo Lopez Castillo, Kevin Michael Garcia, Carlos Enrique Anaya, and Carlos Aguilar III.
