Maria Del Refugio “Cookie” Cavazos, 89, of San Benito, TX passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel, and Belen Leal: son, Michael Cavazos; and several brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 69 years, Gavino Ramiro “Gabby” Cavazos; son, Larry (Margarita) Cavazos; daughter, Bonnie (Jeffrey) Ross; daughter, Velda Cavazos; and son, Henry (Janie) Cavazos. In addition, she is survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 brother, Miguel Leal.
A Graveside Service will be this Monday, December 4th, at 1:00 p.m. at Mont Meta Memorial Park, 26170 TX-345, San Benito, Texas.
