It is with heavy hearts that we share, Sheila Marie Yore, of Port Isabel, Tx. passed away after a short but treacherous battle with cancer on November 2, 2023, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was a very young 73 years old. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Sheila was born in Chicago on June 6, 1950. Sheila is survived by her daughter, Alicia Espinosa and grandchildren Kaylen, Sadie, Manuel Alfonso (Tre), Lea and Maverick. She is forever remembered by her siblings Dan and his wife Laura, Pat and her husband James, and many cousins. Sheila was predeceased by her daughter Carissa Anne Pultz, parents Michael and Adele Yore, sister Diane Binford, and brother Michael Yore. Sheila was born in Chicago, attended Arlington Heights High School and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh. She called the Rio Grande Valley her home for most of her life. Most of her working years were spent in the wine and spirits industry. She was a fun spirited soul with many passions including her incredible artistic talent, love of travel, and a good book. She found comfort and peace in one of her favorite places the ocean. Her grandchildren, nieces and nephews were the source of much joy and happiness in her life. She cared deeply for her many friends. Sheila was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was stunning, it would light up the whole room. She was kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed, until we meet again…. Memorial service will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chapel By The Sea,33425 State Park Road 100, South Padre Island, Texas.
