Cristobal Castro III entered eternal rest on the morning of October 11, 2023, at his residence in Los Fresnos at the age of 30. Chris was born on February 5, 1993, to Cristobal Castro Jr and Guadalupe T Castro. Chris was the oldest of 3 children. As a child, he loved playing baseball. He played little league until he was old enough to play football with the Boys and Girls club. As he got older, he helped coach his little brother’s little league team. As he got into high school, he played football for the Los Fresnos Falcons. Kiki, as we all called him at home and Chris to everyone else, was a very outgoing person, he made friends everywhere he went. He was easy to get along with. He was always willing to help when called on. He loved to hang out with his friends, he loved dancing, fishing and family get togethers. Chris is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Cristobal Castro and Lydia Castro, his uncle Erasmo Castro from Brownsville and his maternal grandmother Ofelia R. Trevino from Los Fresnos. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Cristobal and Guadalupe Castro, his brothers: Jesus and Emmanuel Castro. Uncles and Aunts: Julio Cesar (Laura) Trevino, George (Mary) Trevino from Los Fresnos, Norma (Hector) Trevino from Weslaco, Yolanda (Ramiro) Castro, Mary (Raul) Castro, Maria (Erasmo+) Castro from Brownsville and cousins: Samuel and Sofia Trevino, Eric D (Cindy) Barrera, Erasmo Castro Jr, Yula Gabriela Castro, Adrian and Lydia Natalia Cortez and Ulysses Ledezma of Brownsville. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 606 W Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
