Maria Del Carmen Tovar, 56, of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Maria was originally from Palomas Ciudad Del Maiz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Gregorio Tovar, Juan Tovar, and Luciana Tovar.
Left to cherish her loving memory is her beloved husband, Horacio Tovar; her parents, Martina Najera and Hipolito Tovar; her only daughter, Evelyn Olivarez; and her 2 grandchildren, Erik Damian Lozoya and Jadiel Angel Lozoya. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with a burial to follow to Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos, Texas.
