Luis Alberto Valdivia, 41, of San Benito, TX passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023. Luis was a loving father, husband, and son of the Lord. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and baking for his family. Luis loved his job and was an accomplished painter for over 20 years in his own company, “Luis Painting”. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Celia Zuniga, and uncle, Ruben Zuniga. He is survived by his wife, Mayra Perez; children, April Valdivia, Jaden Perez, Luis Valdivia, Jr., Aubrey Valdivia, and Kevin Valdivia. He is survived by his parents, Sylvia Nieto (Stepdad Felipe Nieto), and father, Jose Valdivia; siblings, Sandra Valdivia, Sofia Valdivia, Jose Valdivia, Elvia Valdivia ,Juan Balderas, Maricela Balderas, Veronica Balderas, and Daisy Nieto. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Chapel Service will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
