Hortencia G. Rodriguez, 78, of San Benito, Texas, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas surrounded by her loving family.
She worked for SBCISD for many years as a substitute/paraprofessional.
She is preceded in death by her parents Francisca and Guadalupe Gallegos. Her brothers and sisters; Jose (Pino) Gallegos, Eva Gallegos, Jesus (Chuy) Gallegos, Maria Del Rosario Tijerina, and Marie Irma Gallegos.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Jose G. Rodriguez. Her children; Ricky, Diane, Priscilla, and MaryJo Rodriguez. Grandchildren; Tiffany Jovanni, Elijiah, Angel Samantha, Jacob, Gavin, Nate, Ryan, and Ricky II. Her great-grandchildren; Evan, Kayla, Talia, Dreydon, Robert, Everly, Mia, Madelyn, Isabella, Gabriel, Ricardo, and Gisell.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
