Emiliano C. Garcia, 77, of San Benito, TX, went to our loving Father in Heaven on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Prospero and Gerarda Garcia; his sisters, Beatriz Zuniga, Maria Ines Molano, and his brother Mauricio Garcia. Emiliano is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Alicia S. Garcia; his sons, Ernesto (Sulema) Garcia, Gerardo (Nereida) Garcia, Edwardo (Graciela) Garcia, and Brownie Garcia. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. Emiliano was born in Cerritos, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He was a loving, caring, and hardworking husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He worked in construction for over 40 years with his dear loader. He loved working in his yard, scratching lottery tickets, and gambling. He was a very giving individual who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He will be dearly missed and cherished in our hearts forever. Visitation will be Wednesday August 9, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass service will be held on August 10, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1001 US-77 BUS, San Benito, TX with interment to follow to Mont Meta Cemetery.
