Francisco Rodriguez, Sr., 97, of San Benito, TX passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Simona M. Rodriguez, daughter, Gracie Rodriguez, and a granddaughter, Monica Zavala. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Paula (Felix) Gomez, Francisco Jr. (Antonia) Rodríguez, Guadalupe (Ignacio) Hinojosa, George (Beatrice) Rodríguez, Joe (Mary) Rodríguez, Simona (Marcos)Torres, Ernesto (Ana) Rodríguez, Esmeralda (Ramon) Galvan, Rene Rodríguez, Dora Rodríguez, and Belia Vallejo. Also surviving are many, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and so much more family that was acquired over the years. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Chapel Service will be held, on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, with burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
