Martin was a very hard worker. He was a man of integrity. He had a heart of gold. I am going to miss my brother. When Martin got to know me he talked to me. He was a good person. His heart showed he was a person that believed in God. Keep your faith in God and he will get you through the difficult time. Martin's sister in Christ Bonita Edwards. Part of his UTMBfamily.

One of the best coworkers ever. I learned so much from Martin through the years. I always called him the, Thriller, because of his knowledge and ability in the operating room. He was a dedicated worker and master of his craft. Not sure how many surgeons called him the "Goat". But more importantly if you ever needed anything he would do it. Not sure how many birthdays, births or retirements he donated to. How mamy times he shared or bought food for coworkers. He was deeply missed after his retirement. I will always treasure my time with him at work or outside of the hospital.

The world is undoubtedly a less bright place without Martin. The heavens are rejoicing but he is truly missed here on earth.
What a blessing to have worked with Martin in the OR at UTMB. I always knew that our day would go well when I walked in to the room and he was there.
