Obituary Re: Kathryn "Sugar" Ludtke Locke Salas Port Isabel, TX - Kathryn "Sugar" Ludtke Locke Salas, 82, passed away on February 19, 2011 in Port Isabel, TX. She was born in Houston, to Caroll and Kathryn Ludtke. Mrs. Salas was a longtime Liberty resident and member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and served as a member of the Board of Liberty ISD for several years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband D.H "Buddy" Locke, and her daughter Sharon Locke Gibson. She is survived by her husband Adan Salas; children Lee Locke of Amsterdam NL, Mark Locke of Liberty and daughter Amber Salas of Hockley: brothers Johnny Ludtke of Liberty and Buddy Ludtke of Palestine: grandchildren Ashley Sulivan and husband Shawn of Dayton, Jeffery Locke and wife Laci of Hardin, Jennifer Hargraves and Husband Rick of Wimberley as well as her great grandchildren Jordan Delpozo and Jeni and Levi Locke as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the boys and girls Country of Hockley, the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Memorial fund or the charity of your choice.
