Juan Jose Reyes, 52, of Harlingen, TX, went to be with our Lord on May 16, 2023, at his home surrounded by loving family. He is preceded in death by his son Juan Jose Reyes Jr., his loving mother, Maria de Jesus Perez, a brother, Martin Perez and his grandparents, Josefina and Paulino Perez. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Gloria Lopez, and his son Elijah Reyes; His father, Francisco Garcia; His siblings, David Perez, Leopoldo Silguero Jr., and Inez Silguero, along with his uncle Ramon (Virginia) Perez, uncle Oscar (Hortencia+) Guerrero and numerous nieces and nephews. And last but not least, left to cherish is his loving dog GIGI. Juan Jose, was a loving husband and father, who would do anything for his family. Juan Jose battled Colon Cancer for three long years. The family would like to give special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for the care they provided to Juan Jose throughout his time. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Thomae- Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7 pm.
