Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Esperanza?
A: Esperanza is hope, hope in the love she sew into our family.
Determined and hardworking- she never gave up on her family. Always working very hard to provide for her family as a single parent and as a wonderful grandmother. Providing a great role model in herself, independently. She never was seeking validation or encouragement from others. She was confident in all she did. Her sacrifices ,efforts, and selfless life she lived only came from the heart she had and the love she had for us. May her legacy live on…

I see it, I always saw it and I hope we all see the love today and always. I hope we can continue in your footsteps. Many people want the family, the good life but many don’t want to sacrifice their own happiness for it but you did it all and I see it. I’m so proud of you. I will miss you and I’ll always cherish our memories we shared. You’re in my heart and I will live with the same morals you lived by. I hope all of your fears and pain have gone away, it’s well deserved. Rest well in heaven with our Lord. Until we meet again, granny, I love you so much!
