Carolina Estrella, 94, of San Benito, went to be with our Lord, on February, 25, 2023, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, in Harlingen. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Pedro& Viviana Marquez,her loving husband Angel Estrella a son Gerardo Estrella, brother, Tomas Marquez, Otilio Marquez, a granddaughter, Linda Carolina Estrella, and a daughter-in-law, Norma Dalia Estrella. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Angel, Raul Arturo (Guadalupe), Pedro Luis (Laura), Rodolfo (Gloria), Mario, Josefina (Rey David) Espinoza, Jose Hugo (Leticia), and Felipe Alberto (Norma Laura). Also surviving is her sister Manuela Guerrero. Leaving a legacy, she also had 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way! Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 5pm to 9 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, and will resume Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 5pm to 9 pm, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday March 3, 2023, at 12pm at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in San Benito, with Burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
