Jaime Adrian Martinez, age 32, born on September 8, 1990, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. He was raised in Los Fresnos, TX where he attended Los Fresnos ISD and joined Special Olympics. He enjoyed and actively participated in bowling, track and basketball. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan! He enjoyed Tejano music, specifically, Duelo and Ramon Ayala, and let’s not forget his favorite game show, “The Price is Right.” Jaime was whole heartily kind and he would always bring a smile to faces with his humor to those who knew him. He could spend hours talking on the phone with family and friends and would always find a way to make you laugh. Jaime will walk the streets of gold with his grandpa, Timoteo Vasquez,; grandma, Guadalupe Vasquez; grandpa, Celso Martinez, Jr.; grandma, Magdalena Martinez; cousin, Juan “Tonio” Lopez Martinez; aunt, Hilda Martinez; aunt, Elvia Torres; uncle, Cornelio(Tiny) Martinez; uncle, Roberto Vasquez; uncle, Arnulfo Martinez; and uncle, Salvador Martinez. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church, 228 Huisache Ave, Rio Hondo, TX with cremation to follow in accordance with his wishes.
