San Benito - Rosa Leal Sanchez, 83 of San Benito went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 25, 2007. Rosa L. Sanchez was born in La Poloma, Texas. + Fernando and Rosa L. Sanchez were married 54 years and had 12 children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Sanchez; 3 Sons, Ramiro, Manuel and Guadalupe Sanchez. She is survived by her 4 sons, Jesus (Teresa) Sanchez, Fernando (Janie) Sanchez Jr., Nicolas (Febe) Sanchez, and Adan Sanchez; 5 Daughters: Josefina Meza, Juanita (Margarito) Oviedo, Elvira Lara, Rosie Barrientos, Martha (Ray Jr.) Saldaña, 38 Grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren She had a generous heart; she taught us to love without end. She was forgiving and she taught us to love with acceptance. She was beautiful and taught us to love others for their beauty within. She was our mother, our grandmother, our great-grandmother, our angel here on earth and now our angel in heaven. She will forever be in our hearts and her love will always be among us. Visitation will be held today, November 27, 2007 from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to Ashland Memorial Park in Harlingen, Texas. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hernandez, Angel Hernandez, Eric Barrientos, J.B. Lara, Nick Sanchez Jr., and Adrian Sanchez.
