Olga Lydia Solis, 62, peacefully passed away into the arms of the Lord on November 10, 2022, at her home in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Olga was the second of five children born on June 1, 1960, to Maria De Los Angeles Solis and Damian Solis, Jr. in Laredo, Texas Left to treasure her memory is her loving mother, Maria De Los Angeles Solis; her four siblings; Rebecca Fernandez (Rogelio), Javier Solis (Mari Lu), Jose Solis (Carmen), and Dora Garcia (Chicho). Olga was a long time resident of Port Isabel, Texas. She loved surrounding herself with all her nieces and nephews. She loved being around her family and always down for a good game of Bingo. She loved to dance, attend church, watching her telenovelas, and always cared for her dog “Toby”. She was the heart of the family and always very loving and caring to everyone she met. Her family and those who loved her will always remember her contagious smile, laughter, and how nurturing she was to everyone. She was preceded in death by her father, Damian Solis, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Damian Solis, Sr. and Herlinda Solis; paternal grandparents, Atanacio Hernandez and Carlota Hernandez. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., at the Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel, Texas.
