Wesley Wilburt West, 58 of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Wesley was a family man and always put his family first. He was hardworking and made many friends along the way. He worked for Holt Co. of TX for many years, retired, then continued school to become a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams. He was good spirited and was always making jokes, there was never a dull moment with him. He will be remembered as always being the life of the party at family gatherings. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America (Troop 59) to support his son. He was also a huge animal lover. Box 175, Port Isabel, TX 78578 C/O Cherie Camacho or donations may also be made to the Humane Society of Harlingen, 1106 Markowsky Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550. He is preceded in death by his parents Ralph Alexander West Jr. and Concepcion (Concha) Torres West. One nephew Joseph Nunez. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years; Victoria Torres West and three children, Kelly Alexandria, Katlyn Marie and Jason Michael. Siblings Lulu (Joe) Nunez, Debbie West and Katie (Casey) Flores and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at Friday, November 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S Longoria St, Port Isabel, TX with cremation to follow in accordance with his wishes. Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Angel Rodriguez, Justin Flores, Jerry Zamarron, Jacob Campa, Angel Torres, Roland Torres, Daniel Errisuriz, and Edgar Torres Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Boy Scout Troop 59 of Port Isabel, TX.
