Ricardo Roberto Domanski, or Rick as he was known by all, left us on Monday, September 24, 2012. He was born June 20, 1966. A free spirit, friend of many, and an avid fisherman. A lover of all things that grow in the dirt, in a pot, or on the side of the road. His creative and artistic abilities were multiple: gardening, landscaping, drawing, painting, and cooking, and the uniqueness in his one-liners and jokes. He had one of the greenest thumbs in the valley. If he planted it, it would grow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosie Camarillo and Roberto Ramon Domanski Sr. Brother to Bob, Ramon, Rosie, Roxanne, and Roland; brother-in-law to Alice, Rosa, Sandy, and Steve; father to Meagan Rodriguez; uncle of 12 nieces and nephews with six great-nieces and three great-nephews; half brother to Ruben Domanski; and stepbrother to Juan Israel Domanski and Nenetzin Cooper. A celebration of life will take place at sea on Wednesday afternoon, September 26, 2012, courtesy of Captain Murphy Charter Services at South Padre Island, Texas. The family will receive friends at Bob and Alice Domanski's home on Paulita Street in El Ranchito at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm following the service.
