Alberto Christian Buitureira, 17, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on October 13th, 2022 in South Padre Island, Texas. Alberto was born in Harlingen, Texas to Alberto Buitureira and Cristina Garcia on August 8th, 2005. He went to high school at Los Fresnos High School and was getting ready to graduate in 2023. He worked at Whataburger for a few months, he had just received a certificate on 10/10/22 for an employee of the month! He enjoyed playing basketball, playing fortnite with his cousins, spending time with his girlfriend, and powerlifting. Christian was kind and always loved to help others. He was growing into a young sweet respectful man. His smile was contagious and beautiful. He has left a hole in our hearts but we will cherish all the memories we have of him. We love you forever and always. Alberto is survived by his Mother Cristina Garcia, Father Jose Alberto Buituriera; sisters: Casey and Janae Buitureira; maternal grandparents Jose & Rosa Barajas, paternal grandparents- Amada & Daniel Flores Tia & Tio- Toni and David Buenrostro, followed by his cousins Jose, Gaspar, Viviana. Tia & Tio, Eliza & Adan Lopez, followed by his cousins Samantha, Cassandra, Clarissa, Aaliyah, Adan Jr. Tio & Tia- Andy & Corina Barajas, followed by his cousins Luna, Sol, Star, Andi Tia & Tio- Rosie & Jesus VIillanueva, followed by his cousins Ethan, Eli, Evalee, Emmitt Tio & Tia- Jose & Jennifer Barajas, followed by his cousins Troy, Gabriela, Madison, Grace, Jose Tia & Tio- Iris & Chad Collins, followed by his cousins Perry & Rubi Tia- Amanda Nicole Flores, followed by his cousin Madison. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 5:00pm-9:00pm, with the rosary to be held at 7:00pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 606 W Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX with interment to follow to Los Cuates Cemetery.
