Benito Peñablanca, 88, of San Benito, TX passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at Harlingen Medical Center.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Gregoria Peñablanca; children, Blanca Treviño, Alma Peñablanca, Benito Peñablanca, Jr., Cidalia Garza, Efrain Peñablanca, Israel Peñablanca, Sandra Sandoval, Edith Cruz, Ruth Peñablanca, Janet Peñablanca; brother, Rosendo Peñablanca; 37 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Efrain Alvarado officiating. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joel Peña, Jr., Alejandro Peñablanca, Daniel Treviño, Andres Treviño, Israel Peñablanca, Efrain Peñablanca, Jr., Urbano Garza III, Javier Mancillas, Jr., Rafael Dueñes, and Robert Jaramillo.
