Carmen R. Ybarra, 68 of San Benito, Texas passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, April 16, 2007. She was born on July 16, 1938 in Lyford, Texas. Mrs. Ybarra enjoyed gardening, cooking, and she devoted her life to her entire family. She will be missed and her memory will live in our hearts forever. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Castulo Ybarra - San Benito, Texas 2 Daughters: Griselda (Juan) Ornelas - Rio Hondo,Texas; Alma D. (Jacobo) Pena - San Benito, Texas 10 Grandchildren: Amanda Marie, Jose Juan, Jr., Eric Michael, and Krystal Junelle Ornelas, Carmen Felicia, Stacy Renee, and Vanessa Lisette Sauceda, Alexis Nicole, Jesenia Deyanira, and Jerikah Jabille Pena. 2 Sisters: Maria Alicia (Noe) Olmedo - Naples,Florida; Maria Guadalupe Hernandez - Naples,Florida; Brother:Reymundo Hernandez - Oklahoma; Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Juan and Josefa Mireles Rosas, 2 sisters; Manuela and Maria Elena Hernandez, and also by her grandmother; Eluteria Rodriguez. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Jacobo Pena, Jose Juan Ornelas, Jr., Eric Michael Ornelas, Felix B. Sauceda, Jr., Eddie Cortez, Jr., Joe Frank Cavazos, Jr., Agustin Torres, and Conrado Rendon. We will have visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church with interment to follow to Mont-Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
