Erasmo Munguia III, 67, of Harlingen, Texas passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
He is preceded in death his daughter, Christina Jean Munguia; parents, Erasmo Torres Munguia, Jr. and Soila Gomez Munguia.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sara Munguia; son, Christopher Munguia (Alicia Lopez); and sister, Velma Mungia Saenz.
Erasmo retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service as a logistics specialist. He continued as a logistics specialist with Texas State Hospital and Rio Grande State Center before retiring.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m. at Gomez Family Cemetery in Los Indios, TX.
